Original watercolour landscape paintings
I have a life-long passion for art. Landscapes were one of my first subjects.
When painting landscapes, I predominantly work in watercolour, for the washed-out hues and hazy field of view that is reminiscent of how one might remember a place – dream-like, if you will.
Many of the landscapes I paint are in Kent – namely Romney Marsh – however I also paint places from both memory and photos taken.

Pet portraits from photos
One my specialities is pet portraits, for which I take commissions. These recreations make an exceptional gift for a loved one or friend. You provide the photo and I do the rest.
I can paint or draw your pet in watercolours, pencil or pastel depending on the final finish you would like. Dry pencil is a popular choice for paintings of dogs due the intricate detail that can be captured.
In addition to creating pet portraits from photos, I can also produce more general animal portraits– if you know someone that loves leopards, for example, you can commission a drawing.

Maggie Wilkinson is an extremely talented artist. We wanted a picture of our eight year-old black Labrador. We sent Maggie several photos of him and because she felt she could not do him justice from the snaps we provided, asked for another picture which we provided. We feel that the picture she drew was exceptional and was recognised on her Facebook page as being our dog without her naming him. We would recommend her to anyone who wants a true likeness. I wanted a picture of either a sunrise or sunset in the countryside. The size of the picture had to be around 14" x 10" and I had seen Maggie's work and was very impressed. This rural watercolour was just what I was looking for. I found the right mount and now it hangs in pride of place on my bedroom wall. I will definitely buy another one in the future. Great artist

I have a picture of Greatstone dunes. Everytime I look at it , it reminds me of being a child. I had so much fun on that beach.
