Drawing the fur of a cat, especially a fluffy cat isn’t easy. And when its’ a white fluffy cat that’s even harder!
Meet ‘Emmett’. And what beautiful eyes.
Once I had worked on the eyes which took about 3 hours, it was almost easier working on the rest because the eyes gave me a sense of the character of this beautiful cat. This was a gift for my friends’ son for Christmas.
They were both really pleased with the drawing, so much so, I understand Jo wants me to draw her other 2 cats so watch this space!
Absolutely stunning, I can’t believe such detail can be captured from a photo sent from my phone. I am really looking forward to getting our other three cats done. I will of course post for everyone to admire Maggies exceptional talent.
